A new Calgary music festival on International Avenue, going into year two. This festival is a collaboration between the International Avenue BRZ and the Major Minor Music Project. It was conceived with the intention of exposing Calgary music lovers to all that International Avenue and East Calgary have to offer.

Get your runners on and join us for the Mayland Heights Run & Walk Fundraiser on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 9:30 am! Choose from a 10 km run, a 5 km run/walk, or a 2 km run/walk. The race course will be clearly marked, have water stations, and have friendly volunteers along the way. First-place prizes donated by Brost Chiropractic valued at $120 (for the 5 km and 10 km races) and a package of cool toys from Mastermind Toys valued at $30 (for those 12 years and under for the 2 km race)! Free after-race BBQ for participants made possible with donations from Family Foods!
Register for your race package by emailing us at MHEparentcouncil@gmail.com by April 26. Adult registration is $30 and child registration is $20. Race packages will be available for pick-up on Thursday, May 2 or Friday, May 3 between 4pm and 7pm at Family Foods (817 – 19 Street NE) and you can pay for your registration at that time. As a bonus, you get a 10% discount at Family Foods when you pick up your race package!

The design team will lead 10 minute information sessions
1:00pm-4:00pm - Move freely between several stations to share your thoughts and dreams for the park.
Members of the design team and the Community Association will be available to talk with you at each station.

Come join us for our third NorthYeast BrewFest where we will have five local breweries pouring and talking about their best beers. Crossroads is close to several outstanding breweries. Joining us this time will be Zero Issue, Red Bison, Common Crown, Tool Shed and Sunny Cider, a brand new cidery which opened in 2019!
Tickets are $25 and get you four flights of three beers. Crossroads members will get $5 back at the door upon presenting a valid membership card.
If you couldn't find a sitter for our last two events, no need to worry this time as we'll have on-site childcare available!
Sticky Ricky's food truck will serving up the hot eats plus we'll have free popcorn in the hall along with other drinks and snacks available for purchase.
